Business Development Executive

Candidate should have 1 to 2 years of experience on Bidding Portals(Upwork, Fiverr, Guru) & proposal writing. Excellent communication skills will be a plus.

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with freelance bidding platforms and strong proposal writing skills. You will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, engaging with global clients, and supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete bidding process on platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and Guru.
  • Identify relevant project opportunities and submit high-quality, customized proposals.
  • Understand client requirements, technical scope, and prepare clear, concise responses.
  • Gain strong understanding of Artesian Software’s technology stack and service offerings.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations (PPTs), and business documents tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain and regularly update company profiles on bidding platforms with latest projects and skills.
  • Communicate with potential clients, respond to proposal replies, and schedule calls with the development team.
  • Share daily progress updates with business owners and participate in regular review meetings.
  • Work in rotational shifts as per business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in business development or online bidding.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or Guru.
  • Strong proposal writing and documentation skills (no copy-paste approach).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business proposals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and targets.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Basic understanding of technologies such as .NET/C#, JavaScript, and mobile app development.
  • Familiarity with version control platforms like GitHub or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of mobile technologies including iOS, Android, and cross-platform frameworks (Xamarin).
  • Experience preparing client presentations and business pitch decks.

Soft Skills

  • Self-motivated and proactive with strong ownership mindset.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn business processes and new technologies.
  • Strong follow-up skills and client-oriented approach.
