Attendance Management App and Bot with MS Teams Integration

This project aims to streamline the process of employee attendance management and leave request approval within a company. By integrating a bot within the Microsoft Teams channel, employees can easily check in and check out of work, and their attendance records are stored in Microsoft Dataverse.

This bot also allows employees to request leave, which is then sent to their manager for approval. This feature provides a more efficient and organized way to manage leave requests, as managers can easily review and approve them in one centralized location.

At the end of each working day, an approval flow is run for the employee attendance records. This ensures that attendance records are accurate and up-to-date, and any discrepancies or errors can be addressed promptly.

In addition, the Model-Driven App provides different levels of access for employees, managers, and administrators. Employees can only view their own attendance records and leave requests, while managers can view attendance records of their direct reports. Administrators have access to all employee records, allowing for a comprehensive overview of attendance and leave management within the organization.

Overall, this project offers a more streamlined and efficient way to manage employee attendance and leave requests, ultimately saving time and increasing productivity within the company.
