Partners Management App

focuses on managing the relationship with other partner companies. Appointments can be booked and events can be created between the Partners. There are different meeting types that the company can schedule with their partner companies. App shows all the appointments and related meetings in the UI.

Technologies and Standards

Dynamics 365,Xrm WebAPI, JavaScript, Business Rules, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate.
The Partner Management App is used for Managing and Tracking connections with Partner companies. The company holds different types of meetings with its partner companies, which are categorized as Mutual Commitments Meetings (MCM) and Non MCM. The Non-MCM meetings includes 30 Days, 60days, 90 days, renewal , Anniversary and others.
Our Task is to provide users meeting specific experience, ensuring relevant forms, tabs and fields are displayed on specific meeting type. In the App, we created multiple custom buttons that opens QuickCreate forms from other Dataverse Tables. To achieve the goal, we utilized custom JavaScript code for tabs and Xrm.WebApi Calls for to pre-populate the fields in the Quick-create Form.
This App also contain Power BI report for partner renewal, which displays the likelihood of renewing the Agreement with the company.
The customer also had Unique Requirement to update the Account fields from the Appointments table while maintaining records of data changes for each appointment. We implemented this using Workflows and JavaScript APIs. Furthermore, we automated the population of amount fields based on the payment plan through workflows, reducing manual calculation errors and saving user time. Validations were handled using a business rule, as per the client’s requirements. Power Automate was employed to automate manual tasks.
To provide a highly specific UI experience, we embedded a Power Apps Canvas App within this Dynamics 365 App. This resolved complex data manipulation challenges that were not achievable with Model-driven Forms, all while ensuring a seamless user experience.
We also focused on optimizing the data import process. We designed an easy-to fill Excel template for event partners and created an Automate Flow to import all data related to Events, Accounts, Contacts, Connections, and their relationships.
In conclusion, the Partners Management App greatly simplifies the process of relationship management for partner companies
